It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne M. Peters of Des Plaines, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away March 28, 2026 at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Wayne beloved husband of the late Lucille A. Peters (Dobrynski). Loving father of David (Jodi) Peters and Margaret (Dan) Winiecki. Fond grandfather of Ashley (Stephen) Woodford, Cory (Kari) Winiecki, Brooke (Jay) Cohen, Elizabeth Peters, Robyn Peters, and Mark Peters. Great grandfather of six, Ella, Georgia, Liam, Anna, Penelope, and Theodore. Dear brother of the late Roy Peters, Caroline Jankovic and Diane Horve. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Wayne & Lucy owned the Des Plaines Snack shop for over 25 years. His favorite past time was Cooking and Fishing. Wayne was also a Veteran of the US Marine Corp as an E-4 Sergeant.
