Virginia Heavey passed away on March 16, 2022 surrounded by her family, her most treasured possession.

For the last 60 years, she raised her children on her own and took pride in our every success. She was the matriarch of a family of 7 children, 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Her home was always decorated both inside and outside for every season and was the center of all family life. We remember her for always being there for us, to offer anyone a bit of candy, a full-blown meal at any time of day and some lively discussion about anything. She had no problem offering an opinion and she sure had a lot of them.

Thank you, Mom, for your humor, your understanding, your council and, above all, for being a positive role model.

All of us are who we are because of you.
