Sue Goodwillie Parsons, of Chicago passed away February 17, 2023. Beloved wife to Fred Parsons. Loving daughter to Lorraine Goodwillie. Sister to Barb, Mary, Bob. Aunt to Connor, Liam, Maverick, Myles, Theresa, Rebecca, Sarah, David, Jessica, Rachel, Sarah, Fisher, Maya and late Michael. Great aunt to Cameron, Sierra, Kayley, Logan, Adam, Emanie, Issac, MacKenzie, Owen, Beverly, Theo, Oliver. Sue was born in Berwyn, grew up in Oak Park and graduated from Oak Park River Forest H.S. and UIC. Sue taught elementary school in Oak Park and Chicago, worked and volunteered at the Chicago History Museum. Sue then focused on fiber art and wood carving, teaching wood arts to Oak Park children and started her own business selling the art that she created. In her free time, Sue focused on many creative hobbies and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity at the Chicago Restore. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm followed by a short service at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.
