Stanley Lawrence Catlett, age 79, of Elk Grove Village, formerly of Des Plaines, Illinois for 48 years passed away October 27, 2024. Beloved husband of Donna L. (nee Griessmer) for 51 years.  Loving father of Scott (Janet), Mark (Wesley) and Ken, loving brother of Steve (Jan), Larry (Tena) and David (Stephanie).  Loving grandfather of Trevor, Nathan, Kate, Amara, Avery and Caleb.

Stanley was born October 13, 1945 in Evanston, Illinois to the late George and the late Martha Jane (nee Beamsley) Catlett. While living in Des Plaines for 48 years, Stanley was a longtime member of the Optimist club and First United Methodist Church. He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him including many nieces and nephews, as well as many Meyers and Catlett cousins.

During his career Stanley worked as an actor/model, as well as an insurance and mortgage broker.  He retired in 2000 allowing for travel and time with the grandchildren.
