Shirley Darlene "Gigs" Graves, age 60, of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away September 1, 2021. Beloved mother of Jason (Irene Kapelyan) Graves, and Daniel Graves. Proud grandmother of Grace, Ben, and Drake. Dear sister of Gayle DePinto, Jeanie Simmons, the late Joanie Sims and the late William Sims. Loving aunt of Emily Sims, Mike Sims, Bills Sims, Tanya Skotzko, Joanie Kubas and David Kubas. Shirley was born September 23, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois. She had a love for animals and gave support to animal rescues whenever and wherever she could. She adored her children and grandchildren, family was very important to her. Private family services will be held. Interment in Town of Maine Cemetery, Park Ridge, Illinois.
