Sean Francis O'Brien, age 44, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois for 20 years passed away October 29, 2024. Beloved brother of Matthew (Samantha) Kennedy and the late Brian Kennedy. Loving nephew of Robert Cantrell, Virginia O'Brien, and Anne O'Brien. Sean was born August 13, 1980 in Park Ridge, Illinois to the late John and the late Patricia (nee Cantrell) O'Brien.

Sean enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He was a dedicated animal lover and cat owner. To him, they were like family. Beyond his love for animals, Sean had a passion for motorcycling. He found enjoyment and peace while riding. A proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous, Sean cherished the community that he found there, often reflecting on the support and understanding that AA provided him.

A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.
