Scott C Richey, 64, lifelong resident of Des Plaines IL, Univ of IL grad and retired Pepperidge Farm "Bread Dude" died peacefully January 17 2020. Scott was the beloved son of the late Carl Richey and Nancy Richey Plumb; dear brother of Linda (Dick) Braun, Marcy (Gary) Schlansker, Janet (David) Dadabo, Robin Richey; uncle of Doug (Julie) Braun, Tina (Chad) Thompson, Jodi Petrovic, Sheila (Luke) Law, John (Jennifer) Schlansker, Allison (Tom) Farr, Leigh (Jonathan) Clark, Lisa Dadabo, Joe (Angie) Dadabo, Tony (Courtney) Dadabo; great-uncle of 17 and friend to many. We will deeply miss our Scott, a quietly witty guy who loved music, sports, biking and hiking local trails with his dogs, Larry, Walter and Chester.
