Ruth E. Bellinger ( née Glen) age 67
Died suddenly Thursday June 20, at Amita Alexian Brothers Hospital. She was born on May 15, 1952 to John A. And Margery K. ( née Knopp) Glen and graduated from St Paul's Lutheran Grade School and Round Lake High School where she proudly competed with the R-Lettes drill team.
Ruth worked in Radio advertising sales for various stations across the country until her retirement and had always enjoyed all those she met and her family. Survivors include: The love of her life, Michael Mason who she met in a country western bar when she asked him to dance over 23 yrs ago. They enjoyed camping and hiking in Yosemite and the Big Basin and biking along the ocean in California. Country music and rock and roll, gardening, crocheting, cross stitching, crossword puzzles and baking kept Ruth busy even as her health failed, and with Michaels loving care she was able to stay in her home. Brothers: Dale (Debbie), John and Charles Glen. Nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 1 Uncle: Allen Knopp. 1 Aunt: Evelyn Glen and many cousins and other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and aunts, uncles and cousins. All are invited to attend a memorial gathering that will take place at 10:00 am Sat. July 6, 2019 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 100 S. School St., Mt. Prospect, Il where Memorial Services will begin at 11:00 am. Services were entrusted to the G.L.
