Russell John Choyce, age 77, of Rolling Meadows, Illinois passed away May 29, 2022. Beloved brother of Richard I. Choyce. Loving uncle of Richard H. (Nicole) Choyce, Victoria (Mark) Rayhill, and Becky (Kevin) Kazmierski. Dear great-uncle of Ethan Rayhill, Sophia and Ricky Choyce. Russell was born March 23, 1945 in Des Plaines, Illinois to Ivor and Mildred (nee Kruse) Choyce. He graduated from Maine West High School and DeVry Technical Institute. He worked as an electrical engineer at Honeywell for many years. Russell was also a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed his retirement years in the Wisconsin north woods at the the family cottage in Hayward. Private family services will be held. Funeral care provided by G.L.
