Ronald Moore, age 90, of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away March 19, 2026. He was born on March 4, 1936 in Chicago to the late Roy G. and Valentine (nee Niemierowicz) Moore. Beloved husband of 63 years to the late Joan (nee Janaszak). Loving father of Terry (Francis) Bach, Rachel (Jeff) Rivera, and Bill (Vicki) Moore. Proud grandfather of Andrew and Ryan Bach, Mickaela (Matthew) O'Connor, and Karli Rivera. Dear brother of the late Jerome Moore.

Ron was a proud graduate of Lane Technical High School and a member of their Alumni Association. Boating and sailing were favorite pastimes of his and he was a member of the Catalina Sailing Club and the Burnham Park Yacht Club. Ron loved all animals and owned lovebirds, dogs, and tropical fish throughout the years. He was a dedicated Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks fan. Ron also served as former president of the Jefferson Walk Condo Association.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Memorial Mass will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Church, 794 Pearson St., Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment to follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, Illinois.
