Robert M. Lightfoot III, age 74 of Des Plaines passed away July 8, 2014.
Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Klemp); loving father of Elizabeth (Kevin) Blazejak, Jeanne (Richard) Bartells, Robert M. Lightfoot IV, and Andrew (Jill) Lightfoot; cherished grandfather of Sean, Kathryn, Brian, Alison, Caitlin, Zachary, Sam, Lia, Elias, Caden, Charlie, and Liam; fond brother of Jim (Pam) Lightfoot.
Robert was a member of the Packards of Chicagoland and Packards International Motor Car Club.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Des Plaines Self Help Closet and Food Pantry, 600 E. Algonquin Rd,, Des Plaines, IL 60016.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 11 from 3p.m. until 8p.m. at the G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines, IL.
A celebration of Robert's life will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 12:30p.m. at Giuseppe's La Cantina, 1062 Lee St., Des Plaines, IL 60016, followed by a luncheon.
