Des Plaines resident of 68 years Rita Jay(Leszczynski), age 90, daughter of Frances and Anthony Lesczcynski, passed away peacefully Friday, December 10, 2021. She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 60 years Chester Jay, and her children Linda Motzny, Richard (Elizabeth) Jay and David Jay.  She is survived by her son-in-law Joel Motzny, 7 loving grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She had a career at United Airlines that allowed her and her husband to travel extensively. Travel was something that she loved to share with her children and grandchildren as well. Rita and her husband Chester were members of the Woodfield Walkers and several senior groups. The two of them were always active and very rarely seen without each other.  She will be remembered as an amazing story teller, a social butterfly and most importantly a loving grandma. Private family services will be held. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
