Richard J. Vonderheide, age 83, of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away December 15, 2023. Beloved partner of 35 years to Irene Klimczak. He is survived by his partner and sons, Richard and Timothy Vonderheide. Richard was born January 6, 1940 in Sunnyside, Washington to the late Ted and the late Emily (nee Jouvenaz) Vonderheide. He was a carpenter by trade. Richard was caring and witty, and he had a great love for animals. He was a man of God and read his Bible every day. A GoFundMe page has been set up in his honor.
