PRISCILLA G. "Mimi" AHLMAN (nee Renk), 85, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Lutheran General Hospital after a hard-fought battle with heart disease. Born June 9, 1939 in Chicago, she graduated from Maine Township High School.

A devoted homemaker, mother and wife of 66 years to Richard Ahlman, she is survived by her loving husband Richard; sons David (Elizabeth) Ahlman and Peter (Stacey) Ahlman; and grandchildren Steven Ahlman, Vincent Loverher (Annie), Kelly Summerfield (Brian), Alexandra Loverher, and Robby Loverher (Kandace).

She is also survived by brothers-in-law William Ahlman (Joan) and Kenneth Milner (the late Frances); sister-in-law Ruth (the late Thomas Ahlman); nephews Michael Ahlman (Michelle), Richard Ahlman (Bess), and Martin and Matthew Milner; nieces Cynthia McKee (Cody) and Michelle Ackerman (Michael); two cousins; friend Barb White and many other good friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hazel and Joseph Renk, her beautiful and beloved sister Frances Milner (Kenneth), brother-in-law Thomas Ahlman (Ruth), three cousins, and good friend Bob White.

Her most recent joy was her two great-grandchildren, Jack and Leah. Her greatest love was family, which meant more than anything to her. Priscilla and Richard traveled to all 50 states and various countries. They also enjoyed many Caribbean cruises. For 20 years they owned a hobby farm in southwest Wisconsin which they enjoyed greatly.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. A graveside service will follow at Town of Maine Cemetery, Park Ridge, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G.
