Paul Edward Powell, age 80, of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away May 15, 2023. Beloved husband of Bonita (nee Kuncevich). Dear father of William (Lisa), Jay, Christopher (Darcy) Powell, and Susan (Randall) Chiakas. Proud grandfather of Rachael (Luis), Eric (Alex), Nicole, Sarah, Justin, Jacqueline, Madelyn, Crystal and Conrad, and great-grandfather of Brady, Zachary, and Lorelei. Paul was born March 6, 1943 in Freeburg, Illinois to the late Harry and the late Mary (nee Lee) Powell. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10:15 am at the funeral home.
