Patricia Kathleen Trischan, age 86, of Des Plaines, Illinois, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2026. She was born December 18, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Henry and Julia (nee Dus) Moskal. She was married to the late John Trischan Sr.

Patricia loved to garden and cook for her family. She found joy in her family: she loved family parties, gatherings, going out to restaurants and loved all the chaos that the great-grandchildren would bring. She was particularly fond of her cherished dog, Daisy. Patricia enjoyed vacationing, especially glamping, and took many memorable trips with her family, including to Alaska and the Outer Banks.

Patricia is survived by her children John (Debra) and Rob (Donna) Trischan, and Cathy (Jim) Heller. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jim (Kathy) Heller, Carly (Eddie) Robles, Corinne (Anthony) Leonard, John (Bree) Trischan, Jeannine Heller, Jaime (Kyle) Kujala, Mike Trischan, and great-grandchildren Luca, Everett, Emery, Henry, Aster, and Harper.

She is predeceased by her parents, Henry and Julia Moskal, husband John Trischan Sr., and her beloved dog, Daisy.

Memorial services will be Saturday, November 14, 2026 beginning with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment to follow in Maryhill Cemetery, 8600 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, Illinois.
