Patricia "GG" Kader (Zugay), of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home in the morning on December 14, 2024 of natural causes, at the age of 89.

Patricia was born to Alfrieda and Bruno Zugay on September 4, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois. She had 11 siblings: Donald, Eugene, Frank, Kenneth, Thomas, Robert, Timothy, Carole, Josephine, Barbara, and Jane, with many nieces and nephews.

A loving mother to Theresa (Mark Lueth), Christopher (Rosa), Elizabeth (Wayne Grant), the late Michael (Brenda), a beloved grandmother to the late Eric Staniec, Jennifer (Joey Zappia), Frederic Kader, Robert (Ashley) Kader, Christopher Kader, Rebecca (Colton Kozlowski), Patricia (Derek Berglund), Aaron Waltz, and Brian Grant.

An awesome great-grandmother to Reyna (Alex), Alexandra, Sadie, Maisie, Sophie, Gianna, Aubrey, Analise, Christopher, Calvin, Silas, and Lily, and great-great grandmother to Calia and Emmett.

Patricia was a woman of faith and loved Jesus Christ with all her heart and quoted the below Bible verse many times. She also loved being a grandmother, playing cards/Yahtzee, and watching mystery/history shows. She was always excited to spend quality time with her family.

" In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know."  Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?" Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. The funeral service will take place on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Eden Cemetery, 9851 W. Irving Park Road, Schiller Park, Illinois.
