Patricia F. Janik (nee Slove), age 86, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois since 1982 passed away March 17, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Janik. Loving mother of Linda Kuska. Proud grandmother of Chris (Rhonda) and Joe (Brea) Springer, and great-grandmother of Christopher, Jordan, and Skylar. Dear sister of the late Lorraine ( the late John) Klug, the late Anthony ( the late Eva) Slove, the late Violet (the late Edward) Arndt, the late Joseph Slove, and the late Richard (Connie) Slove. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Patricia was born January 16, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Anton and the late Mildred (nee Ryan) Slove. She was a long-time resident of Chicago's Southport neighborhood where she was a very active member of St. Josaphat Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Funeral service will be Friday, March 22, 2024 at 10:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 675 E. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines, Illinois.
