Nancy A. Shawke (nee Honicel) age 80 of Des Plaines for over 40 years passed away on April 23, 2021. Loving mother of Dawn (Michael) Kennedy and Tom (Katie) Shawke. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Katy and William. Proud great-grandmother of Gabriel and Kayden. Dear sister of the late Linda DeLeon. Beloved daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn Honicel. A memorial gathering will be taking place on Friday, April 30, 2021 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at G. L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. Memorials may be made in Nancy's name to the ASPCA,
