Nancy E. Heavey of Des Plaines, Illinois, passed away on December 4, 2020. Beloved sister of Mary Pat (William) Horn, the late William (Mary Ann) Heavey, and James (Mildred Shemluck) Heavey. Loving daughter of the late Matthew and Roseann (O'Donnell) Heavey. Nancy was a loving aunt, great-aunt, and great-great aunt to many nieces and nephews, cherished cousin to many and friend to all who knew her. Retired in 2017 from Miami Corporation located in the Wrigley Building. She was an active member of The Happy Twirlers, the Frisbee Senior Center, and the Des Plaines Library. Due to covid health guidelines, services will be held privately on Saturday, Dec 12, 2020 with funeral mass at Holy Family Parish being lived streamed at 10:30 a.m.
