Nadia Ivanov age 54 of Woodridge, Illinois passed away peacefully at home after a battle with cancer on October 22, 2022. She was born on September 10, 1968 in Zhitomir, Ukraine to her parents Mariya and Gregory Ivanov, who preceded her in death.
Dearest and loving sister of Yelena (Aleksandr) Ischuk, Peter (Dina) Ivanov and Aleksandr (Natalya) Ivanov. Cherished aunt of Yelena (Dmitriy) Derkach, Veronika (Vitaliy) Meyster, Ruslan Ivanov, Gregory A. Ivanov and Julius A. Ivanov. Fond great-aunt to Nikita Derkach, Nathan Derkach and Piper Meyster. Nadia was a member of the Holy Virgin Protection Russian Orthodox Cathedral. Her faith was what sustained and carried her through her most difficult life trial in the last year. Nadia will lie in state on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Virgin Protection Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 1800 Lee St., Des Plaines, IL 60018. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery located in River Grove, IL.
