Miguel A. Pichardo, age 91, of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away February 11, 2022. Beloved husband of Carmen (nee Vasquez) Pichardo. Loving father of Miguel Pichardo Jr., Jose Vargas aka Omar Pichardo, Clara Pichardo, and Maria Pichardo. Proud grandfather of Michael, Emily, Natalie, Blanca, Efrain, Laura, Victoria, and Susan, and great-grandfather of Allison, Olivia, Angel and Axel. Miguel was born September 19, 1930 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to the late Jose and the late Clara (nee Matarran) Pichardo. He was a very organized person and will be remembered for his great love of music, after making his career in sound engineering. A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.
