Michael Travaglio, age 88, a resident of Niles, Illinois for 58 years passed away September 30, 2022. Beloved husband of 68 years to Carol Travaglio (nee Hejnicki). Loving father of Dean (Shirley and the late Mary Ann) Travaglio, Kim Travaglio, and Karen (the late David) Mullenhoff. Proud grandfather of Dana E. (Adam), Amanda (Luke), Anthony and Danielle and great-grandfather of Emma, Elliot and Jesse Jr. Michael was born December 16, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John and the late Ann Travaglio. He was a veteran of the US Army. Michael was involved in the American Legion of Morton Grove. He also was a part of the men's club at Saint John Brebeuf Church. Visitation will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, Illinois.
