It is with great sadness that the family of Michael R. McAfee announces his passing on October 22, 2024, after an eight-year battle with cancer. Born on September 26, 1949, Michael was affectionately known as 'The Santa Man' for his holiday creations and was considered a Renaissance man by those who knew him. From small business owner to, gardener, lover of all things canine, pastry baker, artist, retail sales consultant to baseball historian, he was one of the sweetest people you'd ever meet. Survived by his partner/spouse of 40 years, Patrick Gilmartin, and his son who he was very proud of, Dr. Sean McAfee.
