Mary Louise Jadrich, age 91, of Ingleside, Illinois found Eternal Peace and joined our Lord on April 23, 2026. She was born December 22, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois. Beloved wife of Joseph Jadrich. Dear sister of Patricia Aguila. Previous member to St. Bede Church of 42 years and a member to the Women's Club. Currently a member at St. Peter Church, Volo, Illinois.
Mary attended the Chicago College of Commerce to learn the stenograph machine. She became a stenographer to the law firm of Butler Brothers.
She loved being a mother to her four children James (Bonnie), Joseph (Ingrid), Jack (deceased), and Sue Hinkler. Mary and her family moved from Chicago in 1967 to a larger home, which introduced them to a new church and school, Little League, and where they also learned to ski at Holiday Park. They loved the new surroundings of the country.
Mary was a volunteer with the American Society since 1976, after being diagnosed with two bouts of breast cancer. She served on the Public Education, Reach to Recovery, formulated the Look Good Feel Better program in Lake County, and started the first meeting of Make Today Count in Lake County with Sister Mary Grace of St. Therese Hospital. Mary was a Weight Watcher Lecturer for 16 years, she helped thousands of people learn how to lose weight here in Lake and McHenry County. She served as President to the Women's Auxiliary to the Little League program for Fox Lake and Ingleside. Mary was a licensed cosmetologist for over 60 years, and a retired Cosmetology Instructor. She served as President to the State Illinois Cosmetology Association for two years, and a board member for many years. She also served as President on the board to the Cosmetology IL Affiliate #13 of Lake County for over 45 years. She received many awards for doing her passion. Mary and Joe belonged to the Starlite Dance Club and more recently the USABA (United States Amateur Ballroom Association) ballroom dance club. They loved attending their dances. She loved taking ballroom lessons from the Fred Astaire Dance Studios both in Wisconsin and Buffalo Grove, Ilinois.
Mary is survived by her caring husband Joseph J. Jadrich, who is the father of nine children. She has a second family David (Sharon), Deborah Swan, Daniel (deceased), Diane Valdez, Joey (deceased), Judy Tekampe (Chuck), Jane Marie Moore, Gina (Chuck) Guerriero and John (Sandra). Joseph and Mary have one combined family together, with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frieda (nee Viverito) and Jack Kelton, Joseph Hinkler, son Jack Hinkler, niece Dawn Marotta, nephew Joseph Aguila (Rae Ann), Margo Jadrich, and step-sons Daniel and Joseph Jr. Jadrich.
Friends may call at the Ringa Funeral Home, 122 S. Milwaukee Ave., Lake Villa, Illinois on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Latin Mass will follow at St. Peter Church, 27570 Volo Village Road, Volo, Illinois, at 12:00 pm. Interment in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, Illinois.
