Maria Weglarz (nee Sostrowczuk), age 100, a resident of Des Plaines since 1973 passed away March 17, 2026. She is survived by her son, Matthew (Jackie) Weglarz, seven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Walter Weglarz, and her sons, Robert (Teresa) and Stanley (Judy) Weglarz. Visitation will be held Monday, March 23, 2026 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines.
