Maria A. DePasquale (nee Matarrese) age 91 of Des Plaines, Illinois. Born January 21, 1929 in Mola di Bari, Italy. She passed away on January 22, 2020 in Park Ridge, Illinois. Beloved wife of the late James V. for 48 years. Loving mother of Sam (Christine), Rosemary (David) Hooper, Louie (Marci), Barbara (Patrick) Travis and James (Raecheal Karas) DePasquale. Cherished grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 10. Dear sister of Rosa Matarrese, Anna Maria (Carlo) DiPaolo and the late Josephine (Dominic) Dispetto. Maria was a long time cook at Maine West High School, a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Stephen Church and the Traveling Madonna. Visitation on Sunday, January 26, 2020 beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Ilinois 60016. Prayer service on Monday, January 27, 2020 beginning at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
