Lucille Agnes Peters (nee Dobrzynski), age 85, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois for 59 years passed away March 7, 2024. Beloved wife of 65 years to Wayne M. Peters. Loving mother of David (Jodi) Peters and Margaret (Daniel P.) Winiecki. Proud grandmother of Elizabeth Peters, Ashley (Stephen) Woodford, Cory (Kari) Winiecki, Robyn Peters, Brooke (Jay) Cohen, and Mark Peters; and great-grandmother of Ella, Liam, Georgia, Anna, and Penelope. Dear sister of Richard (Mary) Dobrzynski and Victoria Peterson.

Lucille was born December 6, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Victor and the late Pauline (nee Faiferek) Dobrzynski. She and Wayne were married in 1959. A few years later, after their son was born, they moved to Des Plaines where they owned and operated the Des Plaines Snack Shop for 28 years. Lucille enjoyed many things in her life. She loved to cook and go shopping. Most of all, she cherished her time spent traveling. To Lucille it was always an adventure to travel.
