Lori Ann Guthrie, age 58, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2020 due to complications from pneumonia with family at her bedside. Lori was the beloved daughter of John T. "Jack" and Dolores Guthrie and cherished sister of Lynn (John Kalanik), Dawn (Gerry Jenich), James Guthrie, (Mary Rita) Jacquelyn (Kuespert), and Karen (Carl Helwing). Lori's sunny outlook, infectious laugh, and beautiful spirit have been an inspiration to her ten nieces and nephews. Lori was preceded in death by her father, her sister Jacquelyn, and her dear friend Sharon Duggan—all of whom she adored. Lori was a blessing and inspiration to her entire family and to everyone who had the pleasure to know her. Lori lived a happy and purposeful life at Avenues to Independence in Park Ridge. The staff and her friends nurtured and completed her. Most recently she was loved and cared for by the staff at Meadows Supportive Living in Rolling Meadows. The family is eternally grateful to Avenues to Independence and to Meadows for providing Lori the opportunity to live her life to the fullest and they would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Northwest Community Hospital for their compassionate care.  Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, a private family burial will be held at Maryhill Cemetery.
