Lizabeth Kiszynski, age 61, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away on December 8th, 2021 with her son and a dear friend by her side. Over the past several years, Liz continued to live her life with zest, humor, and a positive outlook as she fiercely battled cancer. Liz was a friend to everyone she encountered; many looked to her for advice or a shoulder to cry on. Throughout her life, Liz wore many hats; counselor, educator, server, bartender, amongst others. She will be remembered for her emotional strength, willingness to help others, love of warm weather and beaches, and her love of animals (especially her own cats). Liz was preceded in death by her parents, Elinor and Conway, and her husband Chris. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law James and Tay Kiszynski, and grandchildren Kedzie and Atlas. Those who loved Liz are confident that she is now enjoying endless walks on Florida beaches, taking in the sunsets and the sound of the waves. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, December 18th, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.
