Lillian J. Compall nee Pozdol, age 92, of Chicago; beloved wife of the late Theodore C. Compall, M.D.; loving mother of Thaddeus (Ivey), John (Debbie) and the late Thomas Compall; cherished grandmother of Thad and Kate Compall, Danielle (Jay) Kaplan and Marcie (Tim) Melendy, and Alyse (fiancé Andy Pearcy), Tim and Claire (fiancé Dave Kreiter) Compall; great grandmother of Natalie, Chase and Ryan Melendy; dear sister of the late Alice (the late Walter) Busch, Evelyn (the late Alfred) Jankowski, Richard (the late Pat), Wally (the late Jean) and John (Peggy) Pozdol; fond aunt and great-aunt of many. Lillian was devoted to her family as wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and caretaker. She received her R.N. in 1951 from St. Mary of Nazareth School of Nursing in Chicago where she then practiced as a surgical nurse. Later, she was a civilian nurse at Walker Air Force Base in Roswell, NM while her husband served with the U.S. Air Force. Visitation Friday February 12, 2021 9:30 a.m. until time of Prayers 10:30 a.m. at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines, IL. Funeral Mass 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 7211 W Talcott Ave, Chicago. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
