Lenore Ann Terracciano (nee Johnnic), age 83, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois for 59 years, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2021 holding hands with her beloved husband of 62 years, Daniel P. Terracciano. Loving mother of Dan (Angie) Terracciano, Denise (Terry) Glennon, Mary Ann (Bill) Jones, and Deanna Dziedzic. Proud grandmother of Katie and Melissa Jones, Christopher and Sean Glennon, Angela "CC" Panateri, Nicolette "Nicci" Terracciano, and Amanda Dziedzic. Dear sister of the late Norman (Gerri) Johnnic and the late Joseph (Sylvia) Johnnic. Lenore graduated from St. Anne's diploma nursing program in 1958 and spent the majority of her nursing career at Holy Family Hospital in the Labor and Delivery department where she made many lifelong friends. She loved to travel and spent her free time crocheting, crafting, gardening, reading and watching any NCIS tv show. Some of her happiest memories were made spending time with her grandchildren. Her twinkling eyes and infectious smile will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her. Lenore will be lying in-state Tuesday, June 1, from 9:00 AM until the time of mass at 10:00 AM at St. Zachary Parish, 567 W Algonquin Rd, Des Plaines, Illinois.
