Laurie P. Richter (nee Corrado), age 73, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois for 45 years passed away December 11, 2024. Beloved wife of John Richter. Loving mother of Donna (Frank) Nelson and Jaclyn (Joe) Messina. Proud grandmother of Jack Nelson. Dear sister of Carolyn (Michael) Piecyk. Loving aunt of many.

Laurie was born June 12, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Philip and the late Jean (nee Chimera) Corrado. She made a career in nursing and worked in the field for 50 years. Her job was fitting for her as she is remembered as one of the most caring people you could meet. Laurie took care of everyone she crossed paths with and all those who knew her loved her. She will be remembered and missed by many.
