Kathy L. Bremson, age 73, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois for 38 years passed away December 5, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Charles Bremson. Doting cat-mom to Chloe and Sabrina, her sweet Siamese sisters. Loving sister of Vicky (Stephen) Kosik. Dear aunt of Rebecca L. (Michael) Mihelic, great-aunt of the late Alexander (Amber) Mihelic, and great-great-aunt of Aurora Mihelic. Devoted to her many dear friends. Preceded in death by her mother Carolyn (nee O'Brien) and her step-father Edwin Podewils. Kathy was born November 20, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois.

Kathy had a great love of music, and in every note of jazz she heard, she found a connection that mirrored the rhythm of her own generous heart. She was the epitome of kindness and warmth, a beacon of light with an infectious personality that could light up the darkest corners. Kathy possessed a commanding presence, naturally becoming the focal point in any room she entered. As a faithful Baptist, her days were filled with heartfelt prayers for the well-being of those around her. Beyond this, Kathy orchestrated gatherings with an innate talent for hosting and planning, effortlessly bringing people together to create unforgettable moments.
