Kathleen "Kathy" A. O'Leary, age 66, a resident of Des Plaines, IL and a native to the Chicagoland area, passed away on June 25, 2022. She is finally at peace from her courageous battle with Leukemia and Bone Marrow Cancer.
Adored daughter of the late Jim and Sally O'Leary. Wife of the late Gino Battistoni Sr. Godmother to Kimberly Spies and MacArthur Mansavage. Her greatest blessings were her many cousins and the many deep and lasting friendships made throughout her life.
Kathy's smile and personality were larger than life. She graduated from DePaul University and spent her career in the Hospitality Industry as a Corporate and Social Event Planner, where she was able to bring joy and make a difference in the lives of so many.
A private family burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL. where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband.
