In loving memory of Julian J. Abbio, who passed away at his home in Des Plaines, Illinois on Monday, March 30, 2020: He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, avid fisherman, gardener, nature lover, tinker, tool & die maker, and follower of Christ. Julian walked out his life in Colossians 4:5-6 "Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone." Julian was always ready and willing to share Christ with others. Born in Mondovì, Italy on June 24, 1938, he became a proud American who loved his adopted country. Julian was employed at Precision Instruments in Des Plaines for 44 years as a tool and die maker. He had been retired seven years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margherita Abbio; daughter, Daniela (Celal); son, John Michael (Pamela); daughter, Elisabet "Liz"; his six grandchildren, Sergio, Claudio, Luisa, Trent, Matteo, Marisa; and great-grandson, Brody. A private family service was held and he was buried at All Saints Cemetery on Thursday, April 2nd. Julian was beloved by his family. Ti amiamo papa, ci manchi molto.
