Joy E. Raczka (nee Withey) age 80 of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away on September 28, 2022. She was born on June 12, 1942 in Kaneville, Illinois to her parents Alvah and Mildred Withey. Beloved wife of 35 years of Robert Raczka. Loving stepmother of Bob (Amy), Bill, Brian and Brad (Tara) Raczka. Dear sister of Al, Mark and the late Percy. Cherished grandmother of 8. Visitation will be taking place on Monday, October 3, 2022 beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Joy will lie in state on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at 1 ^st United Methodist Church, 668 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois 60016.
