Joseph Charles Pelinski passed away on the morning of March 13, 2025 at the age of 91. He is survived by Evelyn Pelinski, his wife of 67 years, daughter Cynthia Sporn, and Grandsons Joseph and Patrick Sporn.

Joseph served in the United States Army from 1956-1958 before returning to civilian life to work as a heavy equipment mechanic for Anheuser-Busch and then later in highway maintenance for the Illinois Department of Transportation. Joseph retired from IDOT in 2013 at the age of 80.

Joseph enjoyed his retirement, spending time with family and friends. He would often revisit his old places of work to hang out with his buddies. He was an avid sports fan; he would watch any game on TV regardless of what it was or what language it was in. During the summers, he would often be seen around Des Plaines, riding his bike.

Joseph was preceded in death by his five brothers and three sisters. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
