Joseph A. Bartolone

Joseph A. Bartolone, age 94, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois for 63 years passed away September 17, 2026. Joe was born July 16, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Sam and Rose (nee Reris) Bartolone. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War.

Beloved husband of Katherine (nee Brennan). Loving father of Marc (Rita) Bartolone, Beth (Ron) Sharkey, and Brian (Silvia) Bartolone. Proud grandfather of Allison Bartolone, Angela Bartolone, Sydney (John) Clark, Alexa (Trevor) Adams, Isabella (Ed) Kelly, and Samuel Bartolone, and great-grandfather of Eden, Levi, Clover, Summit, and Rush. Dear brother of Elaine (Lee) Thomas, the late Carmen (Mercedes), Frank (Dorothy), Larry (Ruth) Bartolone, Rosalie (Marty) Ficarra, and Joanne (John) Mengo.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. A memorial Mass will be held Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Stephen Church, 1280 Prospect Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.
