John F. Trickey

John F. Trickey, age 78, a lifelong resident of Des Plaines, Illinois, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026. He was born June 6, 1948 in Evanston, Illinois to the late Frederick J. and Rosemary (nee Jordan) Trickey. He had a passion for learning and was often seen at various Des Plaines establishments with a book in hand.

John is survived by his siblings, James (Christine), Thomas Trickey, Jill (Steven) Smith, Mary Jo (the late Michael) Mundt, Linda (the late Edward) Magnuski, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Friday, October 30, 2026 beginning with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
