John Daniel Shea age 83 of Des Plaines, IL passed away December 5, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine Shea for 49 years. John is preceded in death by his parents Patrick and Agnes Shea; siblings Marilyn Bollinger, Genevieve Michela, Bernadine Peterson, Patricia Amundoson, and Francis Shea. Survived by many nieces and nephews. John was a member of Congregation of Good News Christian Center of Des Plaines and lifetime member of the United Transportation Union Local 528. Memorial gathering will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at G.L. Hills Funeral Home 745 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines, IL.
