Joan F. Moore (nee Janaszak) age 86 of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away on May 10, 2022. She was born on November 19, 1935 in Chicago to her parents Bertha and Frank Janaszak. Beloved wife of Ron for 63 years. Loving mother of Terry (Francis) Bach, Rachel (Jeff) Rivera, and Bill (Vicki) Moore. Cherished grandmother of Andy and Ryan Bach and Mickaela and Karli Rivera. Dear sister of Betty Flynn and Jimmy Janaszak, sister-in-law of Marcia Janaszak. Joan volunteered at Holy Family Medical Center, St. Pascal's Church CCD, O.A. Thorp PTA, Alter and Rosary Society, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and Tuley H.S. Alumni Association. A memorial visitation will be taking place on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at G.L. Hills Funeral Home at 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. Memorial mass on Thursday May 19, 2022 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 794 Pearson Street in Des Plaines, IL, 60016. Interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles, Illinois.
