Jeffrey Alan Kaplan age 36 of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away April 3, 2019. Jeffrey had a love for technology of any kind. He enjoyed video games and anything dealing with computers. He was the beloved son of Nancy and Dave Quam. Loving brother of Michael Robert Kaplan, David (Trisha) Kaplan, Rebecca Quam, and Amy Quam. Proud uncle of Jacob, Chandler and Logan. Cherished nephew of Lori (Ed) Panicko, Lynn Depa, Peggy Gilmore, Ed (Sonia) Quam, and Michael (Linda) Quam. Jeffrey was a friend to many. In lieu of flowers donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation JDRF.org.  A memorial gathering will be held at First Congregational Church of Des Plaines, 766 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, IL on Friday, April 12, 2019 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Reception will follow at the Quam home after church service.Cremation care provided by G.L.
