Jeanne Ellyn Fordham, 81, passed away on September 15, 2020 at home surrounded by her family of cousins and her pastor praying her into Heaven.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Eleanor Fordham.  Retired from Commonwealth Edison, she was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Des Plaines, where she taught Sunday school for over twenty-five years. She loved to travel and made trips to Switzerland and to the Holy Land twice.

Her family and many friends who were beneficiaries of her love and kindness will grieve the loss of her presence, but treasure the wonderful memories.  A Celebration of Jeanne's Life will be postponed until spring.

Interment is private.  Funeral arrangements were made through G.L. Hills Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Des Plaines at 668 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, IL  60016.
