Jean R. Bouman, age 90, of Des Plaines, Illinois, passed away on February 7, 2025. Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Rev. James Bouman. Jean was born on March 9, 1934 to the late Henry and Emma (nee Tauschel) Schwab.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Katherine (William) Hallock, Patricia (Daryl) Kruse, Elizabeth Kikoen, and Lois Bouman. She is also survived by her grandchildren Shannon (Michael) Wetzel, Kelly Kruse, Emily (Luke) Burke, Timothy Kruse, Cameron (Victoria) Kikoen, Alexis (Nick) Clements, and great-grandchildren, Audrey, Thomas, Zayden, Silas, Elijah, Evelyn, and Sophia.

She was predeceased by her parents, twelve siblings, and her husband, James.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 10:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
