Jean Marie Baar (nee Lemke), age 94, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away August 3, 2025. Jean was born November 26, 1930 in Evanston, Illinois to the late Frederick and Marie (nee Radde) Lemke. Beloved wife of the late Rudolph Baar. Loving mother of John (Susan) Baar and Michael (Sandi) Baar. Proud grandmother of Sara (Kevin) Ledford, Alan (Lauren) Baar, Benjamin (Emma), Christopher (Margaret), and Tristan Sodergren-Baar; and great-grandmother of Wyatt and Jordan Ledford, Declan and Reagan Baar, Sofia and Isobel Sodergren-Baar. Dear sister of the late Fred Lemke.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at the Lutheran Home Chapel, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington Heights, Illinois. A short reception will follow the service. Interment in Town of Maine Cemetery, Park Ridge, Illinois.
