James Fridley, age 85, of Prospect Heights, Illinois passed away on February 18, 2021. Beloved husband for 62 years of Sharon (nee Martin). Loving father of Dawn (Scott) Kuntz and Linda (Peter) Bruggemann. Proud grandfather of Joshua and Daniel Kuntz. Dear brother of Joyce (Jerry) Duncklee, Dale (Helen) Fridley, Dorothy (Late Toby) Loeks, Marlys (Bill) Stailey and the late Jo Ann (late Darryl) Benter. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

James was an avid gardener, taking great joy over the years in the flowers and the variety of produce he grew. He also was a creative problem-solver when it came to fixing things, never meeting something that he could not repair!  He enjoyed building things with his own hands, and developing innovative approaches to solving everyday problems.
