Obituary

James John Forman was a deeply religious man who peacefully passed away on July 13, 2026, was an adventurous, kind, loving man who left a positive impression on everyone who knew him. He was a telecommunications technician for more than 40 years taking pride in his work and providing for his family. He loved and cherished his family, his faithful dog, and his Harley Davidson. Jim had a remarkable gift for making everyone around him feel loved. He was just an all around good guy who will forever be loved and missed. His kindness and generosity will never be forgotten. Always willing to lend a hug or a shoulder to cry on, able to make anyone laugh without even trying. The world will never be the same without him, and his memories will be cherished and live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

Jim will be dearly missed. He treasured his close-knit family, and is survived by his beloved wife Linda (nee Mertes). Loving brother to Barbara (Barb) Cardis-Adler. Loving father of Laura (Richard) Aguayo, Jennifer, and her fiancé, Jeff. Grandfather to the late Jose, grandfather to Sara, great-grandfather to Jose Jr. and Aliza. By his side through it all was his loyal dog, Miska. Preceded by his parents Arlene and John Forman.

Son-in-law to Patricia and Paul Mertes. Brother-in-law to Patricia (Michael) Petrelli, Paul (Lori) Mertes, Pamela (Ken) Way, Peter (Paulette) Mertes, Penny (Robert) Frye, Mark (Lynn) Mertes, Vickie (Dan) Stancy, Ann (Keith) Bateman. Beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Friend to many. Ride your Harley to the clouds, Jim. We love you and will carry your memory with us always.
