James Richard Devos, age 79, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois for 45 years passed away November 24, 2022. Beloved husband of Cynthia (nee Lucas). Loving father of Barry and Tim. Dear brother of Richard Devos and the late Lester Roland. Fond uncle of Lacey Zack. James was born March 26, 1943 in Blue Island, Illinois to the late Richard and the late Ursula (nee Esposito) Devos. He was a US Army veteran and served in Vietnam. Jim loved working with people. He was the Administrative Director for the Prospect Heights Park District. Jim also was an avid tennis player and he loved camping. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023, at 1:00 pm at American Legion Post 208, 121 N. Douglas Ave., Arlington Heights, Illinois.
