It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jade Marie Solis on March 29th, 2024, after a courageous battle with lymphoma cancer. Jade was born on June 27th, 1978, and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness.

Jade was born in Manila, Philippines to Ramon Gregorio Solis and Evelyn Arambulo Laureano. Jade spent her formative years in Illinois, after immigrating to America with her siblings in 1992.

Throughout her life, Jade was adventurous who found joy and happiness in being out and about, whether riding her bike, taking leisurely walks, or going on long drives. Her love for music and concerts was evident in her vibrant personality, and she was known for her beautiful voice that could brighten any room with no shame which what makes her Jade. She also had a deep passion for food and loved trying new dishes, making each culinary experience a delightful adventure. Her energy and zest for life were apparent in all aspects of her being, and she cherished every moment spent with her family.

Jade's love for her family knew no bounds, and she found immense joy in spending quality time with her loved ones. Her warm and caring nature endeared her to all who crossed her path, and her presence will never be forgotten.

Jade was a loving sister, daughter, cousin, niece, partner, stepmother, and friend, whose presence illuminated the lives of all those around her. Her warm spirit and compassionate nature were a source of comfort and joy to everyone she has encountered especially with her positivity. Jade's unwavering strength and resilience in the face of adversity served as a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jade infectious laughter brought life and light to those in her presence, and her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her love.

While we are devasted by the loss of Jade, we find solace in belief that she is now at peace in Heaven with her brother, father, and grandparents.

As we mourn Jade's passing, let us remember her for the light that she brought into our lives and the love she shared with everyone around her. Jade's spirit will continue to live on in the cherished memories we hold.

Rest in peace, dear Jade. Your memory will be treasured, and your legacy of love will endure forever in our hearts. You will be deeply missed and eternally loved.

Visitation for Jade will be taking place on Friday, April 12, 2024 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of celebration of life at 7:00 p.m. at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. Funeral Mass will be taking place on Saturday, April 13, 2024 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Zachary Catholic Church, 567 W. Algonquin Road, Des Plaines, Illinois, 60018. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
